Facing Death: A Companion in Words and Images has received three prestigious awards:

In November of 2009, it received the 2009 National Best Book Award in the Spirituality: Journaling & Quotes category, presented by USA Book News.

In May of 2010, Facing Death won the prestigious Benjamin Franklin Award for Excellence in Publishing in the Gift Book category, presented by the Independent Book Publishers Association.

In July 2010, the book won the Silver Award in the Book (Editorial) category from the National Mature Media Awards Program, presented by the Mature Market Resource Center.
